Schedules & Start Times
We have selected our leaders at the end of the school year. As WEB leaders your students will be mentoring and supporting our incoming 6th graders as they transition into the middle school.
As part of this commitment, there are a couple of mandatory dates in the summer we ask our WEB leaders to attend. In fact, we can’t make these summer dates successful without them! Please see the summer WEB dates below. If you have a conflict and your WEB leader will not be able to attend, please let us know.
WEB Leader Training – Monday, August 20th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (please bring a cold lunch and wear comfortable clothing)
6th Grade Orientation – Tuesday, August 21st (Please come at 12:30 pm, and plan to stay until 3:00 pm).
If you have any questions, please contact Bridget Borner, CMSE Counselor at email@example.com.
6th Grade WEB Orientation – August 21 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm (students only)
We want to welcome our new 6th grade students and invite them to attend our very special orientation Where Everyone Belongs.
The WEB Orientation is designed to welcome and support your child as they make the transition to middle school. Our counselors and 8th grade WEB leaders will be mentoring and supporting your students for the start of the school year.
Please plan to drop off your student at 1:00. They will participate in the program and receive their schedules at the end of WEB. You can meet your child in the CMSE commons at 3:00 to get their picture taken, find their lockers, turn in forms, and bring in any school supplies.
Our Back to School Orientation for all grades is August 21 & 22 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
Student Orientation (All grades) – August 21 & 22 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm
We will have staff and volunteers ready to greet students and families both days of orientation in
our commons area. There will be schedules with locker combinations and maps for you to locate
classrooms in the building. Your student will have the opportunity to get their picture taken,
purchase Personal Wellness uniforms, deposit money in lunch accounts, and bring school
supplies to drop off at a central location in the commons.
Curriculum Night – August 28th 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Curriculum Night is an informational opportunity for parents to follow your child’s schedule,
meet the teachers, receive a brief overview of the curriculum, and hear about some of the
expectations and policies surrounding each class. Your involvement in your child’s education is
a crucial component to student success, and we value your partnership.
It is encouraged that this night is designated for parents only due to space restrictions. Students, please fill out the schedule for your parents for them to bring on the evening of the event. Click here for schedule.
*Any school supply items may be brought in on this night and placed in the designated
area in the commons.
