In this workshop, you will learn effective communication strategies for families or individuals when faced with conflict. Professionals from Family Recovery Resource Experts (FRrē) will cover an effective communication tool (conjoint communication), share strategies for establishing healthy boundaries, walk through tools for conflict resolution and how to navigate competing needs within a family system. Anna Edlund presenting “Think Outside” which invites children to think outside themselves, the school building, and into the community.
Jake Jauert will present “Academics in Motion” and share how his active classroom supports student learning.

Many adolescents experience some form of anxiety and depression. Come learn about common triggers that cause anxiety and depression during adolescence, as well as how to tell the difference between everyday experiences of anxiety and depression vs. clinical levels. This presentation will identify warning signs that parents and educators can watch for, give them practical tools for how to respond effectively, and offer guidance about seeking mental health treatment.
