Please join us for the honor band concert on Monday, June 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at Chaska High School.
As WEB leaders your students will be mentoring and supporting our incoming 6th graders as they transition into the middle school.
As part of this commitment, there are a couple of mandatory dates in the summer we ask our WEB leaders to attend. In fact, we can’t make these summer dates successful without them! Please see the summer WEB dates below. If you have a conflict and your WEB leader will not be able to attend, please let us know.
WEB Leader Training – Monday, August 19th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (please bring a cold lunch and wear comfortable clothing)
6th Grade Orientation – Tuesday, August 20th (Please come at 11:00 am, and plan to stay until 3:00 pm).
If you have any questions, please contact Bridget Borner, CMSE Counselor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
6th Grade WEB Orientation – August 20th from 12:00 – 2:00 pm (students only)
We want to welcome our new 6th grade students and invite them to attend our very special orientation Where Everyone Belongs.
The WEB Orientation is designed to welcome and support your child as they make the transition to middle school. Our counselors and 8th grade WEB leaders will be mentoring and supporting your students for the start of the school year.
Please plan to drop off your student at 12:00. They will participate in the program and receive their schedules at the end of WEB. You can meet your child shortly after 2:00 in the CMSE commons to get their picture taken, find their lockers, turn in forms, and bring in any school supplies.
Our Back to School Orientation for all grades is August 20th from 2:00 – 7:00 pm.
Student Orientation (All grades) – August 20th 2:00 – 7:00 pm
We will have staff and volunteers ready to greet students and families on orientation day
in our commons area. There will be schedules with locker combinations and maps for you to
locate classrooms in the building. Our school nurse will be onsite and available for you to bring
in medications and update immunizations. Your child will have the opportunity to get their
picture taken, deposit money in lunch accounts, and bring school supplies to drop off at a
central location in the commons.
*NOTE: All 6th grade students will be leaving WEB at 2:00 pm, so there will be longer lines at
that time. 7th & 8th graders are encouraged to come from 3:00 -7:00 pm.
Personal Wellness uniforms will also be available to buy. Prices are listed below:

Curriculum Night – August 27th 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Curriculum Night is an informational opportunity for parents to follow your child’s schedule,
meet the teachers, receive a brief overview of the curriculum, and hear about some of the
expectations and policies surrounding each class. Your involvement in your child’s education is
a crucial component to student success, and we value your partnership.
This evening is designed for parents to attend, but you are welcome to bring your child with you. Students, please fill out the schedule for your parents for them to bring on the evening of the event.

*Any school supply items may be brought in on this night and placed in the designated
area in the commons.
