About the CMSE Information Team
I am so excited to be the Information Innovation Learning Specialist at Chaska Middle School East and love talking about all things Media!
Previously I was at East Union Elementary for 7 years as the part-time Media Specialist. Before that I taught as a classroom teacher in the Minnetonka Public schools for 13 years. My very first teaching position straight out of college was as a fourth grade teacher in Tracy, MN. I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten license from the University of Minnesota – Southwest, my Masters Degree in Education from St. Mary’s University, and my Media Licensure from the College of St. Scholastica.
My name is Laura Thom, the Registrar and the Media Para at Chaska Middle School East.
My name is Sara Laska. I am the Technology Associate at Chaska Middle School East. This is my 15th year in this district. It is my 5th year working as the Tech Associate. Prior to that, I was the Media Para at Chaska Middle School West. I love working with staff and students and their technology needs. When I’m not at work, I enjoy walking, knitting, reading on my Kindle Fire, and hanging out with my sweet husband. I have one son who has graduated from college.
