• Trip introduced to all 7th graders in Civics class on February 1 - Presentation

• Optional Parent Informational meeting on February 6 at 5:30p on Google Meets - Link

  • This meeting is totally optional and will cover things such as safety, registration and insurance, and what to expect on the trip.

  • Miss the meeting? Watch this video and let me know any questions you might have.

• Registration opens on February 8 at 7:00a.

• Scholarship application due on February 20

• Roommate sign-up will take place in the late Spring of this year

• Required pre-trip departure meeting Fall 2024 (exact date TBD)

  • For all student travelers and at least 1 parent/guardian/caregiver

A few notes about registration:

• To hold a spot: You will be asked to pay a registration fee ($150) to reserve a spot – Space is limited and based on first come, first serve. ALL REGISTRATION/PAYMENT is done directly with World Strides.

• Payment Protection Plan - Also known as PPP is optional but highly recommended (see details in letter) -- $227. If a tour cancels for any reason (regardless if it is canceled by the travelers (ie sickness or quarantine) or the district, PPP guarantees a full refund, less the cost of the PPP. If you do not purchase PPP and the trip is canceled, for any reason standard cancellation rates apply. See STA terms and conditions here.

• Email - please put in your main (preferred email) when registering as that will be the main email used to communicate important information on the trip
