As a CMSE staff, we are thrilled to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year! As principal, it is an honor and privilege to serve our students, staff, families and greater community. I look forward to partnering with all of our stakeholders as we continue to make CMSE a wonderful place for students to learn and grow.

Welcome to our East community! We are excited for the upcoming year and can’t wait to feel the energy of having middle school students back in school.
I have been the Assistant Principal at East for the past eight school years. I started my educational career as a social studies teacher at East, although when I started it was the only middle school in the district. After 10 years of teaching, I earned my administrative degree and transitioned to an Administrative Dean position at Pioneer Ridge Freshman Center followed by Chaska High School.
During this time, I also had the opportunity to spend two years teaching overseas at a middle school in South Korea. During those experiences, I learned that my place is at the middle level, so I was thrilled to return to East as the AP. I look forward to partnering with you and working with others to create a positive learning environment for all students.

I want to take this time to welcome all the new and returning families and students to the 2024-25 school year! As Administrative Dean, I am very appreciative to have the opportunity to work with each and every student that walks through our doors.
We acknowledge every student’s strengths, passions, and individuality. We strive to maximize the academic and personal potential of each student. Throughout this process, we ensure every student is seen, heard, valued, and included.
